A love story or a love affair with pizza - that's for you to decide!
This journey started several years ago with a chance to impress my gluten free girlfriend and make a gluten free pizza that she would enjoy more than anything out on the market. As a chemist this was a challenge I welcomed. Fast forward and my girlfriend became my wife. We tried seemingly thousands of products on the market. Everything tasted like "cardboard with sauce and cheese" - yuck!. She has been the critic and the guide to creating this gluten-free pizza crust and I cannot thank her enough for the many taste tests and failed experiments along the way!
What's behind the Montebella’s name? I love to cook and I’ve instilled this passion in my kids. They have grown up cooking and exploring food with the same reckless abandon that they learned from their father, who learned how to cook (without measuring) from his grandmother! Montebella's is a combination of my children’s middle names, a perfect way to share our family values and the love of good food with each of you!
